CHRISTMAS ORDERS 2024: Our last dispatch date for will be Wednesday 18th December for arrival Thursday 19th or Friday 20th December. Our oysters have 9 days’ shelf life from date of harvest which is the dispatch date.
Unfortunately deliveries nearer to Christmas Day which is on a Wednesday this year don’t work.. We don’t recommend weekend deliveries as parcels can get held up and if we were to dispatch on Monday 23rd there would be no margin for any delay in the postal system which would mean no oysters for you!
New Year 2024 - we will not be sending any oysters out for new year, again due to public holidays and a weekend in the way.
Our first dispatch date in 2025 will be Monday 6th January.

You will receive Cape Wrath Oysters packed in a traditional wooden punnet, with woodwool to reduce movement during transport. The punnet will be inside a polystyrene outer, with gel-packs to help keep the oysters cool. Put the punnet in the fridge on arrival. Like most perishables, oysters are best consumed within a few days of arrival, but they can have a good long shelf life provided you keep them cool and they remain shut.
