• After seeing the Cape Wrath Oyster post last week, I ordered a box of 18 medium rocks on 26/11/20 - they arrived this morning - 30/11/20. We had a dozen for dinner this evening with a bottle of Picpoul. What a treat - they were fresh, fat & creamy with lots of flavour. Great value - our next order will be in a matter of days!

• Shells were clean and uniform (minor barnacles but hardly noticed). Flat tops, good shape. Strong muscle, open cleanly – I haven’t shucked oysters for about  a year as we haven’t been to France recently. Soon got into the swing of it though. Good meat fill and very creamy/tangy/flavourful.

• I just wanted to drop you a line to say how utterly amazing the oysters were sent from Cape Wrath. My Dad sent us a present of two dozen large oysters on Tuesday and they arrived beautifully packaged and quite delicious to eat! It was a wonderful ‘generation game’ to get all the teenagers shucking oysters before sampling them – a couple of them for the first time. The seasoned oyster-lovers amongst the family thought them the very best we’d ever tasted. We wish you every success in your venture and will not hesitate to recommend you!
